About PicksYou

What we do, who runs it, and how you can check both.

What PicksYou does

When somebody asks an AI assistant where to eat, who to hire or where to buy, the assistant names a few businesses. PicksYou checks whether one of them is yours.

The first check is free and takes about two minutes. We ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews what a new customer would ask about your kind of business in your town.

On a plan the same questions go out every Monday. You get the count of answers that named you, and every answer word for word, with your name marked where it appears.

The number we publish

One number: how many answers named you, out of how many we collected. Beside it stands its usual range, because a single week can swing either way, and a count without its swing is a story rather than a measurement.

The matching errs on the careful side. An uncertain match is never called a hit, so the count can be behind the truth but never ahead of it. How all of it is built is public, on the methodology page.

What we never promise

Nobody controls what an assistant says. Not us, not an agency, not the people who build the assistants. Anyone who sells you a position in an AI answer is selling a number they invented.

So there is no guarantee on any plan. There is a measurement, the answers behind it, and a subscription you end in two clicks from your billing page.

Who runs it

PicksYou is built and run by MB Libranet, company code 306214658, registered at V. Nagevičiaus g. 3, LT-08237 Vilnius, Lithuania. Mail to [email protected] is read by a person, and the same details stand on the imprint.

Where it runs

The site and everything it stores run on servers inside the EU, at OVH in France. What we hold about you and why is written in plain words on the privacy and GDPR pages, and a request about your data is acted on within 30 days.

Shorter questions have shorter answers on the FAQ. For anything else, the contact page says what to include.
