The terms of the free check

The free check, the account it can live in, and the monthly plans. These terms say what we do, what we never claim, and what we ask of you in return.

Accepting these terms

Using picksyou.com means these terms apply to you. If you do not agree with them, do not run a check and do not leave an address. We can change them, and when we do the date at the top of this page moves.

Age

This site is for people aged 16 and over. It is a tool for a business, not a place for children, and we do not knowingly take an address from anybody under 16.

What the service is

PicksYou asks AI assistants the questions a customer asks when they are looking for a business like yours, on the day you press the button, and shows you every answer word for word. That is a measurement of what the assistants answered that day. Every count comes with a margin, because it is a sample. It is never a promise of a position, never an assurance that an assistant will name you, and never advice about how to run your business.

Assistants change their answers from one day to the next and from one wording to the next. One check is one sample of one day, and we say so on the receipt, on the page that explains how we measure, and here.

The free check and the report by mail

One connection can start 3 free checks a day. That limit is counted on a keyed hash of the connection, never on an address we store.

There is also a cap on what the whole site spends with the AI vendors in a day. When the day is full your check is not refused: it is saved and run the next morning, and we ask for an address so we can send you the link when it is ready.

Having the report mailed to you needs an address you confirm by clicking the link in a mail we send, and nothing goes to that address before the click. It is one report, not a series: nothing follows it. One click in any mail stops us mailing that address about that business, and it stops that minute.

What we show

The answers on a receipt are the words the assistant returned, quoted, with your name marked where it appears. We do not edit them, rewrite them or write any part of them ourselves.

Other businesses are named inside those answers because the assistant named them. We quote what was said and claim nothing about any of them: not that they are better, not that they are worse, not that anybody paid for anything.

If a business appears in an answer on a page other people can open, it can write to [email protected] and ask for that page to be taken down. We take it down.

Intellectual property

The site, its copy, its checks and the method behind them belong to MB Libranet. The answers belong to the vendors whose assistants produced them and are quoted here under the terms those vendors publish, as evidence of what was said about a business on one day.

What you may not do

Four things, and each one has a reason:

• No automated checks. The form is for a person checking a business. Scripts and batch submissions are refused at the door, because every check spends real money with the AI vendors.
• No scraping of this site, and no copying the receipts wholesale. Quote a receipt, link to it, argue with it; do not harvest it.
• No checking a business in order to harass it, to embarrass it in public, or to build a list of businesses to sell to.
• No reselling the free check, and no presenting its results as the output of your own product.

Your account

A free check needs no account. An account is what a report lives in: you open one with an email address and a password, or with the Google button, which tells us only who the account belongs to. You are responsible for what happens under your sign in, and a password you think somebody else knows should be changed from the account page that day.

You can close the account yourself, from the account page. It closes at once, every plan on it is cancelled with no further charge, and a restore link works for 30 days; after that everything except the invoices and the anonymous AI answers is deleted for good. Invoices are kept for ten years because the accounting law says so; the answers are explained on the privacy page.

Paid plans

A paid plan is a monthly subscription in euro, charged in advance, renewing every month on the same day until you cancel. The price on the pricing page is the net price; VAT is added where the law asks for it, and the invoice states the rate and the amount. The plan you agreed to keeps its price: a price change is a new plan and an existing subscription is only moved to it with 30 days notice.

Cancel from the billing page at any time, in two clicks and with no reason asked. The weekly checks then run to the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing is charged again. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.

There is no other refund promise. A month already paid for runs to its end and is not refunded; the right of withdrawal below is separate and is set by EU consumer law, not by these terms.

The right of withdrawal

A consumer has 14 days to withdraw from a new contract, without giving a reason. The function is called "Withdraw from contract here" and it sits on the billing page of your account, under the cancel button, for those 14 days. It is two steps: the statement, then "Confirm withdrawal". We acknowledge it by mail the moment you press it.

When you subscribe you are asked to tick this, and it is quoted here word for word: "I ask PicksYou to start the weekly checks now, during the 14 day withdrawal period. If I withdraw, I owe only the part already delivered; PicksYou refunds the full first month anyway."

You may use the button in your account, or copy this and send it to [email protected]. Using it is not required; a plain sentence is enough.

Liability and disclaimer

The check is free and it is given as it is. We do not warrant that an assistant will answer, that it will answer the same way twice, or that anything you do after reading a receipt will change what an assistant says next week. Nothing here is legal, financial or marketing advice, and the decisions you make after reading a receipt are yours.

As far as the law allows, MB Libranet is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising out of the use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of the Republic of Lithuania.

Termination

We can refuse a connection or an address that breaks these terms, and we can stop a check that is running. If an account breaks them we can suspend or close it, and we say why in writing. From your side: a plan ends in two clicks from your billing page, an account closes from the account page, and an address you left is removed by one click in any mail or by writing to us.

Changes

When these terms change, the new version goes up on this page and the date at the top moves. Using the site after that is how the new version is accepted.
